Our Story
Knife River Customs is a small shop in Minnesota that produces high functioning and beautiful knives that are a pleasure to look at and use. We love Damascus steel and unique hardwoods from around the globe. Each one of our knives is hand produced and thought out, using simple materials like wood, steel and alloys.
We take custom orders as well as the knives we make in our shop. If you have an idea and would like to talk to us about creating something wonderful, we want to hear from you!

I have always loved interesting things, special things. Things that make people want to learn more about. Things that take time to understand. I have always appreciated art and design, actually that is what I went to college for. I also like to build things, mainly things made from natural elements, like wood, metal and stone. I think the most beautifully made crafts come from these 3 things.
Knives are tools, tools that have been used for thousands of years and will be used for thousands more. People will always need tools like knives, why not enjoy them, why not look at knives like pieces of art as well as tools?
